based on aesthetics i would go with the thorogood.  

a nicer boot, color, and shape.  

but i cant attest to the quality.  anyone want to chime in?

another $100 and you can buy the wolverine 1000mi.  

another $200 and you can buy the alden cap toe boots.

so many options.

so few moniez.

no one can avoid bad or untimely purchases.

so just pull the trigger on one.  

if it doesnt work.  it doesnt work.

luckily these problems are good problems.

not bad problems.

like toilet clogging at a party problems.

or running out of ice at a party problems.

or walking around nyc with your fly down problems.

or confusing passive aggressive twitter problems.

or intermittent internet connection problems.

and remember, everyone buys things they don’t need.

i still make crap purchases for no other reason but to console my aching heart.
